Building Your Own Web Page Part 2

Yesterday we looked at a web hosting, business building company called SiteBuildIt, a great company with a very intense program to help you build your business online. 

If SBI’s package deal seems a little high for your marketing dollars, there is another company I recommend 100%. They are called Webhostingpad and they are wonderful  folks to work with. They are just a webhosting company, but, their RVsite builder is  very easy to use. Again, you do not need to know any HTML code, everything is  WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). Not to mention they do offer everything a business owner could want, including being able to have a check out stand on your  website (if you want to sell a product), to adding links and google adsense to your pages.

 Webhostingpad definately does not have all the bells and whistles of SBI but it they are a wonderful group of people to work with. They are offering a special right now too,  ONLY $3.96 a month for hosting. With that you also get $25 of FREE Yahoo ads and $30 of  FREE Google ads. Those alone make your first year with Webhostingpad nearly FREE.

 I made my first web page with Webhostingpad and I still use them for several of my  web pages.Their customer service is second to none. If you are having a problem, they  get back to you within minutes with an answer and are willing to talk with you on the phone  for hours if need be to get your problem solved.

Like I said,you don’t get all the bells and  whistles of SBI, and they don’t have all the great search engine optimization you will get with SBI but, you will get an affordable web hosting package that you can start with and trust to help you when you get stuck building your page.

Later if you want to grow your business and want the backing of the support staff at  SiteBuild It, you can always choose to go with SBI later. Having your own full website will cost you anywhere from $50 - $250 a year easily. It is the cost of doing business, as I said before, you can not count on the company website to pull business in for you. Unless you  already have a strong client base, you are going to need a website that can be searched and found by Google, Yahoo, or the other search engines out there.

Once you do have your own website though, you can also make money off of it, simply by  putting other peoples adds or affiliates on your website. We will talk more about affiliates marketing a little later on.
