With summer approaching, give your skin a break from foundation. If you want a little color, use a tinted moisturizer instead. Cut back on the mascara, instead of using two coats, use one; use a brighter lipstick or lip gloss from what you wear in the winter months (brighter colors also can make your teeth look whiter); and freshen up the eyes using natural or nude eyeshadows.
If you normally wear black eyeliner, switch to brown, purples, greens…..for a lighter affect. Remember, the most important tool in your toolbox is your sunscreen and moisturizer, and always begin with a clean face.
If you like colorful eyeshadow, for summer choose lighter blues, greens and purples, combining these with nude, natural or tanned lipstick.
